My Roxio Works Great Except I Can't Play In Hd On My Tv

My picture quality on my Sony Bravia 40" HD TV looks like ive got my PS3 connected through ordinary scart. Im using the cables I was supplied with and additional composite video and RCA audio cables that connect my roxio into the back of my TV. And as I understood I could capture gaming while still being able to play in HD, it appears im doing something wrong cos my picture quality on my TV is, well simply, crap. It's nothing like HD I thought even 720 was supposed to be sharp and defined but my gaming looks all blur and out of focus slightly. And how am i supposed to play in HD when my ps3 video output settings are on composit video and not full HD? I admit I'm unsure about all this and could really use some advise. Thanks guys.

The video passthrough on the roxio is very poor , i have had this problem also for the past 8 months and roxio have sent me 3 replacement game captures all having the same problem .

I did my friend, exactly as the video shows. I read the instructions and followed them to the letter. So where is my HD gaming while capturing? I'm starting to think it doesn't exist and I'm far from satisfied with the apparent fibs on the box. So far I've had no HD gaming. Infact if i wanna play in HD I have to reconnect my HD cable and set the ps3 video output signal to hd also. But guess what? that means I can't capture while playing my games in HD. So why the hell say I can?

And sorry but I don't even think u read my message correctly. I never said scart would carry hd signals. and I never said my ps3 was connected with a scart.

Well my friend, I took my roxio back and got a full refund. have just bought hauppauge hd pvr gamer edition and the difference is truly hi definition. Sorry roxio but your product is crap and very misleading. HD my &%$
