Delete Files From Cd-Rw

ubose

Question

I have a CD-RW disk that I added files to using Roxio Creator 9 Drag-and-drop on a Windows XP PC. Now I have moved to a Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium computer, and I just installed Creator 2011 on it. How do I add, delete, and edit files from that CD? Trying to delete in Windows Explorer does not work. I don't see anything in the menu of the Creator 2011's Drag-and-drop icon to delete files, though I could add a file. Any help will be appreciated.

Easy Media Creator 9 not Roxio Creator 9.

Drag to Disc (D2D) not Drag-and-drop.

Drag to Disc is UDF packet writing software, wiki it for a detail explanation.

Creator 2011 doesn't have Drag to Disc but does have Drag-and-drop, read the help file for a detail explanation.

Windows 7 has two burning style formats installed in the software Live file and Mastered.

Live File System is the term Microsoft uses to describe the packet writing method of creating discs in Windows Vista and later.

You need to do your home work, I can't spoon feed you all that info in one post. ;)

I simply wanted to know how to delete files from the rewritable CD using Creator 2011. If you can't answer that simple question, don't waste my time lecturing me on doing homeworks.

ubose,

There's no need to abuse the instructor just because you can't understand the lesson.

Here it is again in short words:

-Your disc is written with Easy Media Creator 9's Drag-to-Disc, not Drag-and-drop which is a totally different program.

-You need Drag-to-Disc to add/delete or edit files on that disc.

-You don't have Drag-to-Disc, because it is no longer supplied after EMC 9, therefore you CAN'T add/delete, or edit files on that disc.

Here endeth the lesson.

You do want spoon-fed pre-chewed easy-to-digest information rather than think for yourself.

Don't waste our time..
