JaniceK
I have used both Quick Erase and Erase to erase a DVD-RW. It always comes back that the disc is successfully erased. When I open it, all the files are still there. How do you erase a DVD-RW?
tsantee
That's odd. Have you ejected and reinserted the erased disc?
JaniceK
Yes I've ejected it and tried again several times yesterday and today.
tsantee
Yes I've ejected it and tried again several times yesterday and today. Try erasing using Disk Utility to see if that works. I don't know any reason that Toast reports that it is erased yet the directory is still mountable.
JaniceK
I tried Disk Utility yesterday and that didn't work either. This afternoon I put a different DVD-RW in Toast and it successfully deleted everything. So I have no idea why it won't erase the 1st DVD. They're both from the same box.
