Please post your computer specs. If you don't know them, use the free "Speccy" to get that information.

 

Have you cleaned up your computer lately especially defragged the hard drive if applicable. (Thanks , just keep reminding me CD.rolleyes.gif)

Even Roxio warns you in their Knowledge Base Article on 'Defragment your hard drive'.

 

IMPORTANT: If you have a solid state drive (SSD) you do not need to defragment your drive.

Your computer does not meet the minimum requirements. In fact, it doesn'r come close. It is a single core processor. Did you read those BEFORE buying the program? You are getting the skips and the jumps because of it. You cannot adjust it.

 

Read this aabout CPUs. Yours is very low on the list.
