Upc Codes

I called Roxio - Pre Sales number - to make sure of three things, before buying Toast 11 Titanium. I told the sales associate that I will be using Toast only to assemble Audio Production Master CDs for manufacturing. I just wanted to be sure that it did three things: ISRC codes, UPC codes and CD-Text. I was assured by the associate that it did indeed do all three. Well, it turns out it does not do UPC codes. There is a field to enter the UPC number, but it doesn't save or show up after saving, and it does not write the UPC code to the disc. I had to go to hell and back, to finally get a support technician to try it out, and finally admit that I was right. Way to to Roxio! Your unprofessionalism leaves me speechless!

I just bought Toast 11 Titanium for producing Redbook standard cd's. I am running it on a mac with os 10.7.4. For one I do not see a place to put ISRC codes nor a place to put UPC codes. The website says that this software has this capability, is this false advertising or am I doing something wrong. I just bought this software last night off of the roxio website.

Click the More... button at the right portion of the Toast window and you'll get a window where the UPC is entered in the "Disc" section and ISRC codes are entered in the "Track" section.

I had the same problem figuring out how to input ISRC codes & UPC code. Found the answer here:

After setting up my disc project in Titanium, the Preferences button became active. The sequence you need to follow is "Preferences", "General", "Audio", "Show advanced audio mastering settings". Then when you click on the "More" button, you'll find the fields for codes.

 

And it only took 14 months for someone to provide the answer!
