Converted Avi To Ipad 3Rd Gen And Now Itunes Will Not Import It

Hi All,

 

I need some help here. I had an avi file that I converted to iPad, 3rd Generation 1080p and saved it to a folder on my desktop. When I opened up iTunes on my mac and I tried to import the file, it would not go. Am I doing something wrong? Not sure why I can select iPad and then not have iTunes import it.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you give us a little more information on the source file - how big is it in size, resolution, and bitrate?
