Send a p.m. to the personwith that headset. Perhaps he tried some others and could recommend them. Use the envelop under the posters's name and avatar.

That doesn't mean that he won't read a p.m.. He may have his forum set to send him e-mails. Also post in that thread; he may have that set to send him e-mails.

 

Why don't you call the company that makes the headset he suggested and see if they have a less expensive model that may do the same thing?

What type of headset did he have , was it a usb headset for consoles .

I'm on 360 and i have a turtle beach xl1, i know that probably wont work, but I'm open to buying a new one

That headset should work , if connected like the image below , you will probably need a splitter cable like the one shown in the image .

That's how they connect and it should work.

This is all a work around as the software doesn't natively capture that output.It captures the game console audio out which the voice chat channel is not part of.
