The Studios keep changing the encryption that fast that no-one could keep up (in a vain effort to stop people ripping them)

 

That's why standalone players need constant firmware 'upgrades'

 

I think they could keep up! :rolleyes:

 

I'm sure every keep up cost you cash! ;)

Is Creator 2010 Blu-ray Playback Plug-In available???

 

 

Corel bought Roxio a couple of weeks ago. They have a pretty inexpensive product WinDVD Pro 11 --here (link).

 

I have not tried it. I use a different competitive product (bought it before Corel bought Roxio).

All right. Thank you, all who posted in response. Here's what I did:

 

1. Added external BD deck Asus BW-12D1S-U/BLK/G; and

2. Fired up free software included in the box Cyberlink PowerDVD 10 and <VOILA>!; and

3. Life is good.

You didn't tell us you needed a BR burner/player. blink.gif We thougth you had the burner already.

All right. Thank you, all who posted in response. Here's what I did:

3. Life is good.

 

 

All Blu-ray drives come with some OEM software to play your BD DVD. Cyberlink Power DVD will tell you in time it needs to update to play the BD DVD.
