Copy And Convert Web Video

Carrie01

Question

Hi, I follow the instruction for converting web videos but, nothing shows in the window. Please help. Also do you have to use internet explorer as your browser or will mozilla work? Can you copy any streamed video from web video or is it youtube only?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Huh???

With 30+ programs in the Suite, we can only guess which one you used or what 'window' you are refering to :o

I would guess Video Copy and Convert, but what do you think you are going to see in this 'window'?

The resulting file(s) will be in the default location, unless you desigated otherwise:

My Videos\My Movies

As far as captures, I think it works with almost anything playing in the browser... But keep in mind, some things are restricted at the source ;)

If you have one and can provide a Link, we would be happy to try it out for you!

Hi, thanks for your replies. Sorry for the vagueness... new at these posts. Yes I mean the copy and convert. When you click on web videos a web video window pops up saying to "launch your browser to start viewing and downloading video" I launch my browser ( usually use mozilla )play a video and, according to the instructions a downloaded copy should appear in that web video window but, it doesn't. Any ideas what I am doing wrong. I have a dell XPS 64 bit running Microsoft 7.

thanks

How long did you wait to see if the copy appeared in the web video window? I did one last evening that took about 7 minutes to appear. Most appear pretty quickly, though.

Ok, thanks. I will try again after work and wait it out. I was experimenting with youtube videos that were under 1 minute. I figured it would show something if it was downloading.

So when the web video window came up, you just went into your browser, played a video, stopped it and that was it?? I'm not missing any steps that aren't in the instructions?

thanks I appreciate the help

Yes, I play the video, then stop it, then go back to the beginning of the video. I actually open the YouTube video, before I open Video Copy and Convert. After I click on the Web Video button, if nothing comes up right away, I open my FireFox and browse the net for awhile, then check back to VCC to download the video.

I managed to get a random msn video to download into the web video window but, I cannot get any youtube videos to work.

That one does not work for me either

HERE is the link if anyone wants to try.

My results were, nada:

Might be something to take up with YouTube Support.

It worked for me, but not with Firefox.

My bad! This was done with Creator 2011 Pro, not Creator 2012. Sorry.
