Toast 11 Update?

There really are those updates. Install whatever version of Toast you can get from the download site, register it and when it next runs it should ask you if you want to update. Until a few minutes ago I was running 11.0.5, but when I started Toast to check if there was a way to force it to check for updates, it automatically asked if I wanted to upgrade to 11.0.6, which I've just done. You can check for updates manually in Help>Check for Updates.

I keep seeing mentions of an update for Toast 11, but the Roxio Web site still offers 11.0.4. Is there really an update to 11.0.5 or 11.0.6, and if so, how can I get it?

The update to Toast 11.0.6 should automatically appear as an option when you launch Toast 11.0.4. However, some firewall settings or Little Snitch can block the notification from Roxio. There is a problem with 11.0.6 (discs stop burning at 99% complete) so I suggest not updating or at least making a copy of 11.0.4 available that doesn't get updated. Roxio has posted a link to a 11.1 beta version in this forum if you want to give it a go. Just look in a topic that rants about 11.0.5 or 11.0.6.

Thanks to you and "pri" for the confirmation that Toast 11.0.5 and 11.0.6 exist. I haven't run Toast for some weeks, so I wouldn't have seen that alert. I'd rather do what I normally do, which is to do a manual download of a new version, rather than to get an update through the program itself.

That's good to know. Thanks.
