Creator 2012 Pro Install Fails

Svipdag

Question

Our first download using the Roxio Download Manager resulted in files with many CRC errors. We've since re-downloaded the installation files 4 times and now consistently see an error message indicating "Error attempting to read from the source install database Roxio Creator 2012 Pro.msi".

We don't get to a wizard page where we can install to our E: drive (C: is a small boot drive) and there are no instructions we can find in the \Temp folder that indicates what the available parameters are for setup.exe.

Can anyone help us with this? We only have until 9PM tomorrow before Digital River shuts off our connection and we've been trying to install this software since February.

Many thanks,

Dave

1. Why did you wait until now if you've been fighting this since February?

2. Getting Installation Log Files>> http://forums.support.roxio.com/topic/69563-getting-installation-log-files/page__view__findpost__p__351951

3. Posting the zipped Installation Log Files just like Posting A Picture/screen Cap On Roxio >> http://forums.support.roxio.com/topic/74120-posting-a-picturescreen-cap-on-roxio/page__view__findpost__p__371339

4. The defaults for Roxio installation are C documents, that could be causing your problems.
