I am also having trouble installing my copy of Pro2012. I appear to have a bad disk. A screen capture and the installation log file is attached.

Here is TMJR's snapshot. I edited the snapshot so as not to show the serial keys

I split this off as it is unreleated to the Topic it was posted in

TMJR, try this.

COPY the entire contents of your 2 discs to New Folders on your HDD. (Disc 1 & Disc 2) ;)

IF they copy without error, you should be able to remove the discs and run the Disc 1, Setup.exe from you HDD???

Of course, even if that works, we still need to pursue getting you a download or replacement disc ;)

You say your using a installation disc?

Your log should look like this.

Module filename: F:\Setup.exe

Setup command line: "F:\Setup.exe"

Instead of what yours shows?

Module filename: C:\Users\Desktop\AppData\Local\Temp\RoxioCreator2012_JX90AXD0R14\setup.exe

Setup command line: "C:\Users\Desktop\AppData\Local\Temp\RoxioCreator2012_JX90AXD0R14\setup.exe"

I already tried to copy all the files off the CD onto the hard drive. I get an error that windows can't read the file.

It's a DVD not a CD.

If that is the case contact Roxio Support and tell them that!

Agreed!!!

Some of the discs have proven faulty (lowest bidder  )

Contact Roxio Customer Service: 1-877-582-6735

They will set you up with a Download Version that will work. (be sure to burn a copy of the download for Archive ;) )

Ok, I am actually handling this for my father, and I don't always have access to the discs or his computer when I am posting for him.

1. Yes the installation disks are DVDs not CDs, since I didn't have them in my hands at the time, I didn't know.

2. I posted the requested setup file with my original post, but here it is again.

3. My father has called the customer service number several times and says he hasn't gotten anyone to answer, so I came here to try and get him some help.

I agree that they need just to send him a download link. That is what I am trying to make happen
