You can still use the 2011 Blu-Ray Rich - it just installs as a standalone

The problem seems to be a very slow uptake on blu-ray overall - it just isn't catching on in a commercial sense as very few people are buying the movies (not to mention that the studios aren't really putting out anything WORTH buying)

This is a fraud! I bought the Pro 2012 version with the expectation to play Blu-ray and 3D DVD's with my computer. I even purchased a NIVIDA Graphics Card to use my display. Now, I read that I failed in the process and spent a lot of money for this Bandini!!

Please clarify....Roxio High-Def/Blu-ray Disc Plugin is included with the PRO version and you say you have this version......

OMG! Are you certain?

I just purchased the 2011 Blu-ray Plug-in and got the same results> not a valid version.

I have the 2012 Pro version and when I try to play a Blu-ray DVD, I get the message:

This version of the application does not support Blu-ray title playback. Please check updates at www.Roxio.com.

Someone is lying! I am really ticked off by the fraud Roxio has created. Maybe, I should get my money back as it has been several days since I purchased the product.

I may have to file a complaint to our great State of California, Consumers Fraud Division, Attorney General Office.

Again: Bandini!

C2012 Pro comes with 'High-Def/Blu-ray Disc Plug-In The new, and easy-to-use, High-Def/Blu-ray Disc Plug-in for Creator gives users the ability to author high-definition video content on to Blu-ray discs!

The 'High-Def/Blu-ray Play Back Disc Plug-In' Roxio quit selling it when C2012 launched! If you have a earlier version it will work with C2012 mine does.

It makes CinePlayer look like this. Probably all the BD updating of the encryption keys ($) made it a loser?

Sorry, for the misunderstanding!

If you purchased Creator Pro 2012 directly from Roxio, within the past 30 days, you can contact them and get a refund.

I did not see anywhere where it is advertised as being able to play Blu-ray movies.

OK, my bad! I am just a customer trying to solve a problem. The symbols used by ROXIO are commonly used to show playing movies with Blu-ray are available.

There was no caveat saying this could not be done. I did not know it until I searched this Forum.

With that said, I am still trying to get Blu-ray to play. Looking at your attachment I do not see the "BD" in the image.

Also, I used the "Help" to get the software update window. Nothing was shown for updates, just "0's". What am I to expect?

I followed the procedure to install the CinePlayer and it did! But, not Blu-ray.

I will apply for a refund on my purchase of the Blu-ray Plug-in. I will wait to see results on Creater 2012 Pro before I ask for a refund for it. I have been a customer of ROXIO Creator series, but I may not be a future one. I try to support products that work, as I am in Tech Support myself. It is hard to find myself hanging by vendors.

I do appreciate your assistance as it is time consuming to step through the CS form.

Your welcome.

I will close this thread then.

If you keep C2012 and have additional questions you can start your own new thread.
