There is a Version and Build numbers under Help-About. What are yours?

Also, is it ALL BD Movies or just some?

Hello Digital Guru,

In my version I only see CinePlayer without BD

I believe that will be the problem.

The version is 5.6.c07 build 561B73A

That's all I can find.

What will be or is the solution ?

Many thanks in advance

And I just noticed that you had that Version/Build in your first post - my Bad!

Yes the BD Playback is included with CinePlayer in the 'Pro' Suites but not in the regular.

For some reason, it is not available as an option either

But there are plenty of viewers out there!

If you want to stay in the Family, Corel offers its' WinDVD Pro 11 ~ HERE

The Creator Pro Versions include the Blu ray Author Plugin but not a Blu ray Disc Playback Plugin for CinePlayer to play commercial bought Blu ray DVD's.

Roxio offered a Blu ray Disc Playback Plugin for C2010 and C2011 CinePlayer but dropped it when C2012 launched. I installed my older Blu ray Disc Playback Plugin to C2012 Pro and works but it installed this C2011 entry in all programs and no CinePlayer under C2012 applications.

Like many other companies, Roxio seperates Blu-Ray playback from the video editing part of the program. What comes with Creator is a CinePlyer that is supposed to play DVD along with AVCHD disc that you make (if you have a compatible blu-ray player). It seemed that they were not committed to keeping CinePlayer BD up to date with the various protection schemes.

Roxio was bought by Corel a several weeks ago. They have an excellent DVD player. Look here. There is a free trial. I have been using it and it seems to work well for 3d and blu-ray.

Many thanks guy's for the info so far.

Sorry if I mis understand things but English is not my native language it's Dutch. But I will do my best.

If I understand correctly I need to upgrade to Creator 2012 and buy the BD plug-in then?

That's what I make up of what's written above

I allso make up of this, that I've been mis informed in the shop when I bought the Creator 2011.

Me was told that it al so played Blu ray disc. They didn't say you needed an extra plug-in which isn't avaible anymore.

I feel mislead now.

Anyway I will download the Corel player you suggested and think off this. I don't like to many players on my PC.

I prefer all in one That's why I bought the Rocio creator.

Again thanks

Because of this, I prefer blu ray player software. It is much more convenient.

Recommendation of other software when a Roxio/Corel product will work is not allowed so the link was removed from the post above.

I would suggest that you look at this one from Corel.
