Dale99
Just like the topic says I'm trying to install the software I have registered the product key with this site. But every time I try to install the software it tells me that the product is not activated please try again. I've been at this for two days already I have looked here and through the support thing and have found nothing. I cannot seem to find a number to call support. So I'm hoping someone here may have a solution. Thanks in advance for any help anybody can offer

andym07
I just bought this software...off to a bad start. Same problem. Tried entering product key multiple times (like 30). There is no typo. Activated it on the website on first attempt. Tried copying DVD to HDD and run setup from there, same problem. I am running Vista Home premium 64-bit SP2. Has anyone been able to resolve this???

sknis
If you copy and paste, make sure you are NOT including blank spaces before and/or after the key.
cdanteek
I have the same problem, anyone knows how to fix this? Do you get this same error? A good key should show the green check mark shown. This post has three users with the same problem, http://forums.suppor...ad/#entry425404 If it is a bought retail box you can try and return it and tell them the problem. If you bought it from Roxio you have a 30 day return it policy. I would notify Roxio Support too.
ststrick
Another case of the same. It appears the retail store (Wal Mart in my case) must activate the software at the register during check out. I don't know the mechanics of this procedure however the box indicates it must be scanned twice ( two bar codes) in a particular order to activate. When I returned my first retail box for a refund the register indicated it de-activated the product which makes one assume it was activated when I returned it. Regardless, I now have a second retail box doing the same and will return it today. Is this a Wal Mart issue to prevent theft or a Roxio issue to prevent theft? Wal Mart employees have no clue and Roxio provides no phone support. It would appear the day has come when it is easier to use pirated software than to purchase it.
