Can I Install Toast Again When I Buy A New Macbook Pro?

hcfreak

Question

I just bought in a store Toast Titanium 11 for my Macbook Pro (Lion), but I have to make up my mind now. I want to buy a new Macbook Pro. I couldn't find an answer anywhere (roxio, internet , this forum, manual, etc).

Should I wait installing Toast when I have my new Macbook Pro OR can I install it now and also on my new Macbook Pro later??

Or do I have something extra to buy a second user license? I will not be very happy if I have to pay 'the full" 100 euro again!

thanks a lot!!

It would be handy to have it on my iMac and laptop as I need to work in my office as well as when Im on the road. The only problem is I literally just bought it, installed and now can't open it. It gives me a message saying: "You do not have permition to open the document Toast 11 Titanium" Never even got the choice to put the cd key on. Does anybody know why its doing that?

Roxio made some Toast discs with that problem. Don't worry. Just go to the Roxio Software Updates page and download the Toast 11.0.4 update. It includes everything that's on the standard version of the Toast disc. If you bought Toast 11 Pro you'll still need the Pro apps installers.

Another thing you should know, don't accept the Toast 11.0.6 update that you'll likely get notified about when you launch Toast the first time. It has problems and you're better off with 11.0.4. You can disable the update reminder in Toast Preferences.
