Driver Disc Is Blank?

AngelofTeasing

Question

Hello I just got my Roxio in the mail. It was a gift from someone I work for and when I got the box open finally the Driver disc has the pretty picture. It has not been open before and has the correct CD Key TSID etc but when I put it in my computer it said it was blank and kept asking me to burn something on the CD. I called Tech Support and he kept asking me to restart the xbox so I hung up on him. Is there a online version or a way to confirm I should have the drivers to this so I can start to play with my new toy???

Thank you :)

Do you mean that when you look at the disc, Windows Explorer shows it to be empty?

Explorer says its empty, windows box that pops up normally says nothing is on it. Any time I try to open it, it prompts me to burn stuff onto it.

Look at it on a friends computer.

Also call the Customer Service sales department, Maybe they will send another disc.

So far Tech support told me to restart my xbox.... But i'll give customer service a chance.. ty

Just Called them and they won't answer any questions unless I know who I bought it from (I did not buy it, It was sent to me by someone.) It seems there is suppose to be different install discs based on who you buy it from. Or does this company just not have any tech smarts???

If I were you I would take the installation disc and try it on another computer (friend's/neighbor/.co-worker/relative's).

It would appear you have a bad disc (which is possible) and the easiest way to prove that is try the above.

This was also suggested in post #4....try it .

So find out where the person who gave it to you as a gift bought it. There is no difference in install discs depending on where it was bought.

Does your disc look like this?

See the #'s on the pressed side?

Is yours silver looking or purple looking?

In my computer your disc doesn't show like this?

Okay I was not ignoring the "try another computer" thing I had to leave for Zumba. It works on 1 of my 5 computers. So I am just going to take the ISO image and put it on a drive and mount it and make it work that way.. Thank you guys..

My disc is the same numbers and markings but the "my computer" said 4.38 GB free of 4.38 GB. I was hoping I could just take it from a site like everything else.
