please help. I am on windows 7

Please tell us about your computer. Run dxdiag.exe and save the information. It will be a txt file. Attach that txt file to your reply. It will tell us about your computer and computer drivers. Read this. The Speccy result does not give us enough information.

 

When you tried to install the program, did you update the program along these guidelines? What did you not do?

 

Are you installing it to your system drive . The program will not work over NAS/network.

When you tried to install the program, did you update the program along these guidelines? What did you not do?

 

Are you installing it to your system drive . The program will not work over NAS/network.

Well you sure can't read. You were supposed to attach the txt file from dxdiag; not the whole thing. You are taking up too much space for many people. I asked for you to please attach the txt file. Look at the "more reply options" to see the attach option.

 

Also you could not have done the update since your video driver is probably the original and has never been updated. I haven't checked yet but one that is that old probably has an update. That update may cure all your issues.

 

If you don't know how to do something , ask we will not bite your head off if you try; we may if you just post things that are not true. If it is important to you, help us help you. If it is not that important, contract Tech Support and pay for the privilege of giving them the same information we are asking for.

 

BTW the way, you system drive is where WINDOWS is installed. In most cases it is the "C" drive.

 

I really don't want to lecture you, you probably get enough of that elsewhere. You are asking for help but expect use to provide all the information with nothing from you.

 

Be honest, I would not ask something if it were not important to having you enjoy the program. You said that you did all the updates. Let's see. Go here and let the site see if there are updates to your video chip. That may be enough to solve the problem. But there may be other things needed. Come back after you updated the video chip and let us know what version and date.

I'm breaking this out separately. The information says that you have Windows 7 64 bit. AMD does NOT have a driver for that video card so it is not supported.

 

Did you or someone in your family update that computer from Vista (or earlier) to W7 64 bit? I don't know if you will get the program to run. Perhaps someone else will be able to help you.

Good luck ! i don't think you will find one for that video chip and Windows 7 64 bit. There is one for W7 32 bit but I don't know if that will work. It may scre up your computer worse. I'm not sure that you computer will support the program.
