Videowave Lag

i have been experiencing a lag while editing video in videowave

 

i have bought roxio creator a little less than a month ago and this is my problem

 

when i try to use videowave it works fine but, the audio plays at normal speed and my picture jumps frame and doesn't keep up with the audio. i meet all the system requirements and it has a lag in it. i cant see where i am at with this and it is impossible to edit cleanly. i did render a video and it came out at normal speed but it still is impossible to edit the video i want with the picture jumping frames

 

i usually add the video in a mp4, m2ts or mts

 

if anyone can help that would be great

Tell us about your computer Meeting the system requirements just isn't enough information.

 

What happens if you add a file and wait about 3-4 minutes before doing anythings. Sometimes the video shows as loaded but the audio takes more time.

i dont know if you can see it but i have

 

ASUS Notebook k405IJ/K50IJ series pentium Dual-core 2.20 GHz

 

ram 3.00 GB

 

64 bit operating system

As far as I know that machine uses a Celeron and also Intel graphics (running off the main system RAM which is only rated at 800 MHz) which would give it a performance hit

 

Have you tried using software rendering to see if that works any better?

It is possible that the original poster does not have a Celeron CPU. I was able to find that the laptop came with one of the following: Processor & Cache Memory Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T6500/T6400 : 2.1 GHz - 2.0 GHz, FSB 800Hz, 2M L2 Cache;

Intel® Pentium® Dual Core Processor T4200 : 2.0 GHz FSB 800MHz, 1M L2 Cache

Intel® Celeron® Processor T3000/900 : 2.2 GHz - 1.8 GHz, FSB 800MHz, 1M L2 Cache

 

I agree that the video chip might be an issue. CPT did you ever update the drivers for that video chip? Go here and see if the automatic updater finds that chip.
