Roxio Blames Cd Blanks Even Though Windows 7 Can Burn To Them

BobLemon

Question

Why cannot Roxio burn to CDs even though Windows 7 works okay. I first used Roxio Creator 5 and it was useless, since then have used Nero with no problems, but when I went to Windows 7 I decided to try Roxio again, but wish I had not bothered, what a waste of time and money.

Maybe you could explain a bit what your doing, in what application, burning what, using a CD-R or CD-RW?

I've never heard the error message 'Roxio blames CD blanks' before. Any more detailed info you could add?

ECDC 5 worked great for me in XP, as does Creator 2012 in Win 7, answer the questions asked in post #2 and maybe we can help you figure out what you are doing wrong.
