Roxio Game Capture No Source?

Hi! i have problem with my recently bought roxio that i just got in the mail! SO: i plugged it in correctly and everything and did the stuff i was told to

and then i installed the CD that came with it, for the Roxio capturing and editing for PC.

And so i went on Capture and it says:There is no source? Shouldnt the source be Roxio Game Capture? and i cant do anything else there, becuase i dont have the source

 

Here is my computer Specs: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit (6.1 build 7601)

Processor:Pentium® Dual-Core CPU E5500 2.80GHz

Nvidia GeForce GT 220

Oh, and it doesnt show up on Device Manager list... so what is the problem? i installed the CD my going in it and then hit the setup.exe shouldnt that work? and install everything?

That is your problem (what I bolded) . You were supposed to install the software before the hardware. Windows installed the wrong drivers. I'm tired of repeating the instructions on how to fix it. Read a couple of recent posts also saying it doesn't work !

My problem is... that Roxio game capture is not showing up on Device manager! no mather what i installed... i plugged in the roxio to the tv and ps3 first... like i was told!

after that i installed the CD that came with it... and after that i put in the USB for RGC and nothing happened after that....

and there is no thing in my Device Manager sound option that reads ANYTHING about my roxio game cap no mather what it's plugged or not....

and there is 1 thing showing up on printers and devices... under neath it.. there is a small group "unspecified" and that says that there is a usb thing.. i guess thats roxio, because when i unplug roxio it goes away but there is no such thing in my device manager as the Roxio game cap not even 1 of them!

i have a problem with my roxio game cap too.... there is no such thing for me as Roxio game cap on the Device manager and i did as i was told

1. i plugged in the roxio to my ps3 and tv

2. i installed the CD that came with it

3. i plugged in the USB Cable for RGC'

4. i waited, but nothing happened so.. i took a look at capture screen and it reads no source, and i cant find my Roxio game cap on device manager IT'S JUST NOT SHOWING UP!

and there is some images... AND YES in the Device manager screen... i do have roxio plugged in to my pc but nothing..

Keep the device plugged in and then follow the instruction that I posted above to remove the device driver. Remove the device and reboot.

 

After that, update your computer (link) Keep that anti-virus OFF and reinstall the software. Now follow the instriuctions.

 

Make sure that you device is plugged in this way.

 

 

Since you already have one post going on this issue, it is bad forum usage to attach a me too post to someone else's thread. It is especially bad forum usage to give more information in that other thread then in this one.

 

Your posts are merged here. Do you not undertand the information that I'm trying to give you? Uninstall the drievers for that device and reinstallk the program with the device sitting in another room !
