Exporting From Imovie Than Using Toast

Imacer

Question

I export my project using Quicktime MPEG 4 1280x720 HD. Viewing the video works fine on the computer, but when Toast with the latest version and export to DVD, than viewing it on my Samsung blue ray player some movies will not play. I'm using the blue ray plugin with toast. Some movies with will play but some won't. What could be wrong. I have the latest version of Toast titanium 11 with blue ray plugin.

Others have noted a problem with the Blu-ray menu not playing all titles on some Blu-ray players. Check that you have the latest firmware update for your Samsung player. You also may be able to access the titles using the chapter skip or some other feature within the player.

Funny you say because I been using the same player for about 6 months and never had any problems with blue ray plugin before or the blue ray disc on this player.

You have more experience with this than do I. Which version of Toast were you using 6 months ago? If it was 11.0.4 go back to using it. Or give the 11.1 beta that patatrox posted a link to in this forum a try. If you changed brand of blank disc go back to using the ones you used before. I don't know where the plug-in is located.

One other qustion, do the movies to burn have to be selected with the blue high light color before burning? All my software is updated and firmware. Never changed brands of disc.

No. Whatever you add to the Toast window gets burned to the disc.
