Quick Find Stopping Process

hey suddenly (for the last several days) when i try to burn audio cd's, i open the program, try to drag music to burn and it locks up. i notice when i first open the burn audio cd tab, the "quick find" shows "loading" but never completes the task. any ideas what is goin on? can i turn off quick find? thanks

Follow the Prep Steps first.

 

Then start to Install the Program, only choose Repair when it is offered.

 

Give that a try and see what happens

You can close the Quick Find window by clicking on the triangle at the top right of the window.

 

 

To change the settings for Quick Find and folder monitoring, click on the sunburst icon at the lower left.

 

 

Uncheck the box for 'Start Folder Monitoring' and any other boxes you don't want working, and if necessary the 'Clear All' button should delete any file entries previously gathered.

i unchecked the "start folder monitoring" box. however the picture below shows u what i get everytime i open roxio to cd burning mode:

 

not sure how to paste a picture here, but the quick find says "loading" and locks up. i turn off quick find, try to drag music and it locks up

also i checked for windows updates as jim suggested. none needed. can't reinstall program as it came installed on my HP, no software copy

Hmmm, you can't have Creator 2011 then if it's a bundled version.

 

Last suggestion - Did you try "Clear All" to try and clear all the monitored folders?
