Due to an obvious problem with the Roxio software, back on track, numerous users had problems with the boot manager getting compressed. HP informed users, including myself, to go to Roxio's site,
Well, I have tried almost a year to download the file but have continued getting the following message;
"Roxio Downloads
Download the Roxio Back On Track Repair Kit
The maximum allowable downloads for this update has been reached. This is a temporary restriction. Please check back in a few days."
Finally, My patience is worn out. I cannot access my files or anything on one of my computers. My business has suffered, I have lost alot due to the faulty software. Today, I once again contacted HP and was redirected to Roxio. I then contacted Roxio and I was told to contact Corel. I then contacted Corel and they referred me back to a Roxio page which redirects me back to Corel.
This is ridiculous!!!
I have recorded the online chat with your reps and all the email from your support in a computer screen recording software.
I have contacted support numerous times which went unanswered.
Does a person need to file a civil complaint in U.S. District Court, BBB Complaint, Ripoff Report Complaint, Post Viral Videos showing the chats, emails, and numerous problems faced when dealing with Corel/Roxio, Put up complaint sites, contact news sources just to simply get a link to download the simple file??

http://www.roxio.com/go/bootmgrfix
and download the "bootmgrfix" file.
HP support link also informs users to do this:
