Lkris
I added MTS files straight from my video camera to burn a HD dvd. When I tried to burn the dvd I get this Error code=35 volume could not be found? Do I have to convert the files first?
tsantee
Did you copy them from he camera to the hard drive before adding them to Toast? If not, give that a try.
Lkris
When I open the AVCHD files there are MTS, CPI and MPL files. Do you know if I need to just keep the MTS files?
tsantee
Usually the AVCHD file is dragged into Toast and Toast knows what to do with what's inside. If you can't get this to work with Toast, try importing the video straight from the camera to iMovie and then from iMovie to Toast.
Lkris
Copying the Mts files to my desktop then adding to Toast worked! Thanks! I'm trying to avoid using iMovie because it only supports 29. fps. It down grades my videos. My video is 59.94 fps. I wish I could add titles in Toast. Do you know of any editing program that supports 59 fps?

Do you know of any editing program that supports 59 fps? Toast can trim the videos so that you can exclude segments. As for a modestly priced editor other than iMovie I can suggest Final Cut Express, Adobe Premiere Elements and Wondershare ViVideo although I don't know if they retain the 59 fps.
