Software Does Not Recognize Video Resolution

Question

I have Creator 2011 and am running windows7

My monitor resolution is set at 1920X1080

The software keeps telling me that the reolution must be higher than 1020X720

I have re-installed the program but it will not see the correct resolution settings. It will not burn DVD as it send this error and stops.

What do you have your Windows font size set to?

What happens if you use the 1020 by 720 resolution?

Are you working with high definition video - as high or higher than 720.

Font size is set at 11. The viewing font size is 150% since the reolution is so high the screen print is very small

At the 1020X720 it still responds with the message " video resolution is below minimal settings of 1020X720. Reset resolution " then closes

I am working with Hi resolution video. Current settings are 1920X1080

Set the Windows font size to normal - 96 dpi and try again. The program works best at 96 dpi.

I have the same problem with Roxio. It does not recognize resolution. I did the 100% size and now it opens. The bad thing is that everything looks very small.

Roxio has always used this scheme and still does 5 versions later.

While not a perfect solution, if you look into Windows Accessories, Ease of Access, you may find the Magnifier will help you ;)
