Is There A Way To Update My Computer So The Capture Will Work?

alright so i got the capture and installed it onto my computer. but when i hit the record button it says i need to make my screen resolution bigger and i need 16 more bit for graphics. can someone please help me so i can fit these requirements or if i need a new laptop
