Problem Involving Turtle Beaches

i have a problem where if i want to record a live commentary the screen on my tv blacks out.

basically with turtle beaches you have a usb which i plug into my computer, you also have a mic cible which goes into your computer, they all work fine when i plug them in. now when i goto plug my headsetcable in which runs from the headset and then into two audo splitters which connect to the audi cables from your pc.

how can i fix my tv black screening, its still on yet no picture.

I have a set of Turtle Beach headphones that I use and they don't connect to my computer.They connect to my console.

And if you're plugging into your computer I don't see what that would have to do with your TV.

Especially since we're talking about audio from the headset and video to your TV.
