The " Topic solved" box in the lower right hand corner has a check mark in it ! I guess I don't understand the significance of this indicator. Regardless, still no feed back on what my problem might be. I suspect that I might have to upload the photoshow to their web site before it will work correctly but I don't like the idea of all this personal info out in public.

Would you explain what product you own and using?

Is it a full Creator 2010, 2011, 2012 suite with the application PhotoShow?

Or is it Roxio PhotoShow Premium version like this? http://www.photoshow.com/maker

Open the program and click help, about this software, don't post a Serial # / CD-Key!

Using PhotoShow premium, version 6.0.0, build 857

That topic solved with the check mark is designed to be used by the original poster (or other) after the topic is actually solved. The solved icon will then show up in the list of postings. Don't use it because it will sometimes screw up the visible posts to make them invisible.

Are you making the PhotoShow on your computer or on-line? If you select to have your PhotoShow on-line, you have to download it to your computer and select to edit it. If you have it on-line, and you select to download it via mp4 and then burn that, chances are that all you will get is the audio. It breaks, then Roxio fixes it and then it breaks again.

How many images are you using? Any video? Since you are getting the audio track, your music is probably OK. If the PhotoShow won't convert to a wmv file, then there is something in the show that is screwing it up.

Try this first. Download another copy of PhotoShow 6 and install it over what you have now. It will not erase the project. Try again.

When you select to burn the DVD, does a window open to show you the progress? How long did you wait?

Are you trying to burn to a CD or to a DVD? Please remember that a CD will give you poor quality and may not be playable on modern DVD players. Why are you selecting CDs? There is not that big a price difference. Some countries still have older players that will not play a DVD but that is unusual.

Made the show on my computer. It is about 100 photos with no video, file size 82 MB. Tried to burn again using RW DVD and it worked. The status skreens came up as you indicated and it took about 13 minutes to burn. The last two times I tried it took 30-45 minutes.

I don't know what changed but you got me through it, thanks

Got all the status and progress screens, took about 13 minutes to copy. the attempts that previosly did not work took 30-45 minutes. Don't know what changed but thanks for the guidance.

Did you use a CD or a DVD on your previous attempt? You of course do not want to use RW DVDs as permanent media for your slideshows. They are not as reliable.lasting as standard DVDs.

BTW, what do you mean by copy? Does that include the encoding as well as the burn.?
