Program Not Responding

Question

For some reason when I start up the software to record, it doesn't respond. If I start it without the device plugged in, it's fine. Unfortunately the software will not detect the device if you plug it in after starting. Launching the application without the device is the only way for it to work. If I don't have it plugged in, it just sits there and doesn't respond until I go into the task manager and close the MediaCaptureGame1X.exe process.

With the Roxio Game Capture closed, open device manager, now plugin and unplug the Roxio USB Device and watch what drivers load in device manager. These are what is supposed to load..

I had a very similar problem recently, was advised to uninstall the program, then basically disable your firewalls and antivirus protection while you reinstall the program. I did this, and then I run the program "as an administrator" So far have not had this issue since then. I say be patient and read as much as you can on the web about this program and what other users with much more experience have to say.
