Other uses include: * Separating the encoding and burning steps, so that a burn error will not result in doing the same encoding a second time. * Virtual discs (#1), for testing the disc before burning, e.g. playing a virtual DVD-Video with a software player. * Virtual discs (#2), for convenience, e.g. for traveling with a laptop.
