Did you plug in the device before you installed the software?If so that was mistake one.

My guess is the drivers aren't loading for the device.

 

I don't have the picture on this computer but if you look in Device Manager with the device plugged in do you have 2 entires under Sound,Video,Game Controllers that say Roxio GameCap?

If not then that's the first problem and you need to start over.

 

Also disconnect the HDMI cable from your XBox.It will only output the video over 1 connection and with the HDMI plugged in it will default to that.

 

Connect the device to your XBox and to your TV just like it shows with the Component cables.

Unplug the USB Device from the PC and reboot the PC.

 

When the PC is up and running place the installation disc in a drive and run repair when it's offered. When it's finished reboot the PC.

 

When the PC is up and running open device manager and plugin the Roxio USB Device and tell us what shows for drivers under sound game and video controllers?
