Editing A Wav Prior To Burning It To Cd

supercell

Question

Hello,

Does Toast 11 allow me to do this?:

I would like to take a long wav file (contains several songs [concept album I created in Logic 9.1.7]), and separate each song within the aforementioned long wav file, so when burned to CD I can forward to my individual tracks. If so, can I label each song as well?

Thank you in advance!

Toast comes with an application called Spin Doctor X which can be used to mark start and end points of individual tracks within a single audio file. After marking those tracks you can send them to Toast and they will appear individually. Within Toast you can do additional track trimming, create crossfades, set the length of gaps between tracks and several other things before burning your audio CD.

Spin Doctor X has many problems, but the feature of marking tracks and sending them to Toast is working.
