tsantee
Toast comes bundled with an app called Disc Cover 3 RE that performs this function. The full version of Disc Cover is also available from its developer Belight software.
ddudley
The Toast 11 Titanium download (upgrade 11.0.6 v730) is bundled with six additional apps, including Disc Cover 3 RE.app (3.06 v656), which appears intended for producing CD/DVD label information, including directly printing to the surface of CD/DVDs with certain inkjet printers. it is far from clear after studying both the PDF manual and the video tutorials how Disc Cover is intended to work, or how much of the application is crippled unless you purchase the "Standard Version." Moreover, I can find little affirmative evidence that Disc Cover 3 "RE" will indeed run under OS X Mountain Lion 10.8. Further investigation indicates my downloaded version of Toast (11.0.6 v730) is not yet available on the page featuring manual software upgrades. The latest iteration listed is 11.0.4 v709. Go figure?

Go figure? Don't use Toast 11.0.6 because it has trouble finishing disc burns. That's one reason Roxio didn't replace the 11.0.4 version on the Software Updates page. Although the 11.0.4 download includes all the Toast non-pro bundled apps they traditionally haven't done well at including updates to third-party apps included in the bundle. Belight, however, has an update for Disc Cover RE that can be downloaded from their site. As for what's not included in the Disc Cover RE version compared with the standard version, I'm attaching a couple screen shots. The one showing the discs illustrates that art backgrounds are not included in the RE version. I'm not running Mountain Lion so I don't know if there are any issues with the latest RE version. It works fine in Lion.
schwine2
When Toast 11 has finished burning a disc, the following message appears: "Your disc is ready. Please label this disc as: etc..." Is there a way to disable this message about labeling? Thanks.
tsantee
In the Advanced tab of the Recorder Settings window there is a check box next to "Remind me to label disc". Perhaps unchecking that will eliminate the message.
