Roxio Game Capture Won't Open

Question

Hi all, I've installed Roxio game capture on my laptop [i also have it installed on my pc, where it works fine] but when I try to open it on the laptop, nothing happens. I've been searching everywhere for a solution to this and have found no information at all, my guess is it's an issue with my laptop, but I have no idea where to start with sorting it out.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Minimum System Requirements:

  • Microsoft Windows® 7, Vista™ SP2, XP (SP3 for 32 bit & SP2 for 64 bit), Intel® Core 2 Duo Processor 1.8 GHz or AMD Athlon x2 64 2.0 GHz, 2GB RAM
  • DirectX® 9.0c compatible graphics card or higher, sound card
  • 2GB free hard drive space for installation. 10+ GB free recommended for video recording.
  • Windows Media Player 11 or higher
  • Internet explorer 7 or 8
  • Internet connection required for capture, registration, product updates and tutorials. Any Internet charges are the user's responsibility
  • One available USB 2.0 port

I think so, I'll try and update my graphics card and see if that's the problem. The thing is my laptop used to run it, but I uninstalled it and now it won't run again on reinstall.

 

Edit: my graphics drivers are up to date and all other requirements are met.

I meant do you meet the minium system requirements!

 

You never said you had it installed before!

 

Open a support ticket, support tab above, and ask for the clean uninstall reinstall for RGC...
