Missing Dll

Hi i was wondering if you can help me , im having the exact same problem in the fact that the error message 'd3dx9_33 ddl' keeps appearing. i downloaded the directX file and extracted it into Windows/Systems32 and it still keeps occuring? any ideas on how to solve this issue? Thanks.

I can only tell you what worked for me. I don't know why it worked.

 

-Uninstalled Roxio Creator 2011 and Roxio Content (then rebooted)

-Installed Windows update (rebooted)

-Disabled the firewall

-Installed Roxio Creator 2011, then the Roxio Creator Content (rebooted)

"Gaming" has posted this at least nine times on the forum. The problem is with his Roxio Game Capture; not Creator 2011. The extra ones have been deleted. This one would be but you posted in it. It is going to be locked.
