Im using a headset type mic, its nothing special... But it seems when adding narration to my gameplays using the Roxio software, i'm in a constant battle trying to get levels right...
It seems i either can't hear myself much at all, or i have everything turned up so much that a very noticeable hissy "boosted" type sound is present. The gameplay itself is generally always clear and consistent.
A lot of the commentators i listen to have very clean and clear sounding voice overs. I've tried going into devices and messing with db boost and what not i still just cannot get the quality or levels under control and it seems like a new battle with every new video.
Ive tried messing with the db levels in the roxio video wave but it still doesn't seem right.
Should i try a traditional type microphone or any other suggestions?
