.vob File Conversion

Question

Hi

 

I am trying to convert a home movie on DVD ( file type is .VOB ) to a quicktime movie in .MOV format so I can edit it in my video software.

 

Every time I convert it, it speeds up the video by about 5 times. The movie is about 6 mins long on the DVD but when converted it only runs for 1.20 min.

 

Any suggestions would be most welcome.

That's an issue I haven't previously heard about so I'm not sure what to recommend. Are the VOBs still in a VIDEO_TS folder? If so, did you use the VIDEO_TS Folders setting in the Toast Convert window? Which conversion setting did you choose. The Apple TV setting is a good choice for editing purposes. Please share more details.
