jgufey
Use only Maxell disc. speed is 48X
sknis
Use only Maxell disc. speed is 48X That may be two strikes. Maxell DVD are almost the worste you can buy. Their CDs should be middle of the road but why chance it? Also slowing down your burn speed will help. The fact that they are lightscribe (coated) has nothing to do with the "other side" of the cd. cdanteek
That may be two strikes. Maxell DVD are almost the worste you can buy. Their CDs should be middle of the road but why chance it? Also slowing down your burn speed will help. The fact that they are lightscribe (coated) has nothing to do with the "other side" of the cd. Maxell makes its own media and its considered good quality media. Hitachi Maxell, Ltd. (Hitachi Makuseru?), commonly known as Maxell is a Japanese company which manufactures consumer electronics. The company's notable products are batteries -- the company's name is a contraction of "maximum capacity dry cell" -- and recording media, including audio cassettes and blank VHS tapes, and recordable optical discs like CD-R/RW and DVD±RW. http://en.wikipedia..../Hitachi_Maxell Memorex is the one that doesn't make CD DVD media and farms it out. Usually poor media, depends on who makes it for them. Now Verbatim farms out their light-scribe media to Moser Baer India. And I find it questionable compared to Verbatim branded (Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Corporation) media. http://en.wikipedia....wiki/Moser_Baer If Hitachi Maxell farm out their light-scribe media it could be your problem. Only way to tell is use a disc Media ID utility like Nero CD-DVD Speed. # 3 in my signature a free download. A Verbatim branded CD disc in CD-DVD Speed Utility, Media ID (MID) Manufacturer Moser Baer India as the maker.
sknis
#$^@, I always get those two mixed up I wonder if I had a bad experience in my childhood ! Slowing down the burn speed is still a possible cure..
