Viewing Photos And Transitions (And Music) In Timeline

Question

I haven't used 2011 to create a slideshow DVD in a very long time and can't find how to view photos in timeline mode. (Ie: photo1, transition to the right, photo2 to the right, transition to the right, etc. - with the choice of transitions above.) Now I have a box with all the photos next to each other in a grid. I got there by loading 2011 then clicking Video/Movies on the left, then create DVDs to the right. After I populated with photos I tried clicking "Timeline" from View on the toolbar but the choices are not available.

I find it much easier to edit from Timeline view than the grid view. Can anyone help me get there?

Cheers -

Stephen

It sound like - from the grid description- that you are using the Slide Show Assistant that you reach by going through MyDVD. Please do a screen shot and point out which application you chose.

You should be using Video Wave.

You are absolutely correct. I am using MyDVD with the assistant. I've been pushing buttons for 10 minutes now. How can I get to Video Wave (which does sound familiar from along time ago!)

Thanks very much!
