No 3D And Open File Option In Windvd

 Share

Recommended Posts

I think the version included in Creator NXT is an OEM version since what I see and what I can find on Corel's web site are completely different. Where you see "optical drive" and "folder", the Corel web site shows 4 icons including "files."

Perhaps you can get more information from the Corel web site or from the Corel forum..

WinDVD PRO has this;

WinDVD Pro 11

Blu-ray Software

  • #1 DVD and Blu-ray™ player software
  • New Blu-ray 3D™ support & 3D glasses included with box version
  • New online movie search engine
  • New 2D to 3D video conversion

The version of WinDVD included in Creator NXT Pro is not the Pro version of WinDVD. Remember the original CinePlayer had to have a plug in to play certain types of videos (BR).

As for files: I looked at the help files and one is supposed to be able to create a permanent or temporary play list from folders. I tried all kinds of things and could not get the program to create a playlist. I kept getting a non-supported file type. If I selected to open a file from Explorer and selected to use WinDVD, it would play it correctly.

We are users just like you...

You weren't expecting an argument were you

My CinePlayer, BD & 3D, goes back to Creator 2011 so it is intact. I would have hoped that NXT would have left yours intact...

I have asked around but no one has tried putting crator 2012 BACK ON their PC after installing NXT! Even then, Short Term Success does not always mean Long Term Success :(

Keep an eye on this Topic, maybe someone from Roxio will offer some insight ;)

The problem is that in the past version of Roxio, Cineplayer had 3D and open file option, why not in this one? In my opinion this is a DOWNGRADE, not an upgrade!

Otherwise if you read the HELP inside the software, 3D and open files options are described! :-)

Did you save the Cineplayer update to your hard drive?

If so run it, hopefully it will reinstall a working Cineplayer.

I have purchades the ROXIO CREATOR NXT PRO version and noticed that WinDvd HAS NOT the 3D button and the Open File button.

I can only watch phisycal DVD, or blue-ray, or open folders where there are stored the dvd or blue-ray files.

Why?

Back to your question... It appears that NO 3D button is required!

I just ran 2, 3D DVD's tonight and both played as expected...

Did you even try it before you posted???

LOL! No 3D on WinDVD. It simply shows the file you saved.

In the last picture the software should tell you how would you watch the "left-right" movie, with anaglyth version or 3D system.

If you read the "help" in WinDVD software you will find 3D button and "open file" button... but there are not.
