Deleting Temp Files

Maya2

Question

I created a temp DVD file to copy DVD disks. THen I got a message that I have to delete over 4 GB of data to copy new disks. I assume the temp copies are filed somewhere on the hard drive, but how do I find them to erase them to free up space to make more copies?

"I created a temp DVD file to copy DVD disks"

"I assume the temp copies are filed somewhere on the hard drive....."

"....how do I find them to erase them...."

I'm confused ? If you created the temp file is there a reason why you can't find tem ?

Or am I all wet here and not seeing what you mean ???

Redwagon...thanks for replying. When I open Roxio Creator and click on the Copy Disc link, it tells me that it will make a temp copy and from this temp copy I can make as many copies of the disc that I want. When I finished, I closed the program and assumed that the temp files would be deleted. But since it now won't accept a new disc for copying...telling me I need to delete 4 GB's of data to make room for another temp file... I assumed it was because I was using up all my memory storing the temp files. Does this make it clearer?

Hi Maya2,

How much space do you have on your C drive? You can probably try deleting all the file in your temp folder. You can access by going to Start then typ in %temp% then press Enter.
