Composite Cables For Roxio (Ps3)

Hey guys I just got my roxio in the mail, and I cant seem to get the video to show up in the roxio game capture recording program. I'm having to use composite cables since my t.v only has the red white and yellow ports/plugs. Is there any way i can get this to work?

I have a updated video

 

just follow it, i know it is for Xbox 360 but just follow the way i hook it up then play around the settings.

 

but remember, you need to use 480i and NOT 1080i for the roxio settings.

I had actually already watched the video dan posted before i made this Thanks for updated video though Vaughn. Just to clarify, the component cables given to me by roxio to hook up to my console and through the t.v. arent the ones i need, but the one you used with the extra yellow cord? For the other side (can't remember if it was input or output xD) you only used the audio cables and hooked up one to the t.v.? I couldnt listen to the vid since im out without any headphones :\

You need a cable like this to go from your PS3 to the Roxio unit .

The cables you use to get a picture on your TV have nothing to do with the picture on your computer.

You MUST use the Component cable from your PS3 to the device and then the USB cable from the device to your computer.

If you try and use a Composite cable from your PS3 to the device you will not get a picture.
