Problem Converting M4V To Dvd

Hi! I am new to macs and Roxio.

 

I have created a movie in iMovie and exported it as m4v movie.

 

I want convert this movie so I can burn it onto a DVD to play on a DVD player connected to my television.

 

I would be grateful for a step by step list if possible.

Choose DVD video as the format in the Toast Video window. Add your movie. Name your movie and dit the text that will appear in the menu. Choose your Menu style and any of the other settings options. Click the burn button.

 

You should find better instructions in Toast Help.

I understand that but I think I have to convert it to a mov file or some other format before I can burn my DVD, and that is where I am having problems.

Toast does the necessary conversion as one of the steps in making the DVD. If the video is recognized by Toast, it's ready to go.
