tsantee
I don't know why you want to do this, but you can't in any case. Video DVDs have a different authoring system than does Blu-ray video, so there is no way to have menu system transferred. You can extract the videos (with their contained audio tracks) from the DVD and have Toast author them to a Blu-ray video disc but not the menus. You do this by choosing Blu-ray video as the format in the Video window, insert your source DVD, click the Video tab in the Media Browser and drag the titles to the main window from the DVD section. Choose Never re-encode in the custom encoder settings window.
REINALDO
Thanks so much, I follow your instructions and I got the video and audio 5.1 without the menu but the chapters are not correct in minutes, so can you please help me with that too? It's there any way to keep the tracks exactly like the original,I mean in minutes and seconds without put them manually? Thanks one more time
tsantee
Thanks so much, I follow your instructions and I got the video and audio 5.1 without the menu but the chapters are not correct in minutes, so can you please help me with that too? It's there any way to keep the tracks exactly like the original,I mean in minutes and seconds without put them manually? Thanks one more time I don't know why the location of chapters would change. Did you have Never Re-encode selected? You can add the chapters as individual titles but then each chapter because a new menu item and there may be a slight playback pause between them. I didn't expect the problem you're experiencing and don't know a solution.
