i have the box checked to fit project on to single disk but it wont do it comes back and says put a different blank media in so im force to use a totally different program plus when i tell it to save it to my computer another thing pops up that shows u how for along it got to finish ..will nothing happens

There is very little usefull information in your post. Please be specific when you are describing error messages. "another thing pops up that shows u how for along it got to finish" .. tells us nothing.

Please reread a your post before sending it off. At the moment I can't tell whether your "another thing" message is from the Roxio program or from the "different program".

How long in time is the video you are capturing? Trying to fit more then 60 minutes on a single DVD gives crappy results. It is always best to first capture to your hard drive and then burn to DVD

EVD 3 also has the option to Span a project across 2 discs!

 

But as Walt pointed out, without knowing more details, like the Project Length etc., it makes impossible to help you out wtih this
