Mov File To Wmv (Corrected From Wma)

Kevin Manchester

Question

Hi Guys, I have got Roxio 2010 and the other day I had some footage of a family occasion so I wanted to convert the MOV file from my digital Nikon L120 camera to a Wma or Wav Roxio done this perfect but it lost the voices or Audio as some say but on my cannon DSLR camera where it comes out as a MVI file that was perfect, how can I solve this?

If I bought a updated Roxio like Roxio Creator Pro 2011 would that software solve it. Need help please!

I don't understand what you are doing or trying to do. A mov file is video while wma and wav files are audio. You cannot "convert" mov files to audio

Digital Guru, I use a programme called Power Director Express to make DvDs and streaming files from my JVC camcorder the programme won't accept the files from my Nikon L120 camera known as Mov file so I have to convert it to a Wmv I should have said but when I convert it I lose the voice? any idea?

This is a very common problem with digital cameras when used to record video in the mov format.

A workaround is to copy the video direct from the camera to your hard drive and then use a 3rd party program (such as AnyConverter) to convert to a usable format.
