No Video From Panasonic Palmcorder Iq

i have roxio vhs to dvd 3 - build 301b37a,vh3. i can copy from a vcr to a dvd with no problem. but when i hook up a panasonic pamcorder iq x20 digital zoom camcorder, i can get sound into the roxio program (and a msg - no video signal)when i use only the white audio cable but when i plug in the yellow video, the roxio screen turns blue and there is no sound. i do, in both instances, get video in the camorder eye piece. what should i do?

Where are you located. I could not find anyhting about the camcorder on the Panasonic US site. Please post a link to the information on the camcorder.

 

What is the recording media? Does it have USB and/or firewire? If it is a memory stick, can you just copy the video from the camcorder to your computer and work with that?

As a quick test, plug your camcorder into your TV, see if that works ok.

thanks for the tips. i am out of town. i will check these on 10/2 and send info on the palmcorder. thanks again. also, it's palmcorder - not pamcorder and the color of the screen was blue - not black.
