Can't Get The Roxio Capture Card To Work On A Standard Def Tv

Currently i've got it so the preview window on the software is in black and white. On top of this the video is sped up and the sound is a little distorted. Am i doing something wrong? I was pretty sure everything i needed came in the box when i bought the device am i missing some cables or something. I would really appreciate the help, this was supposed to be for someone's birthday and currently it is a huge disappointment.

How do you have the Xbox/PS3 connected to the Roxio capture card, and from there to your TV.

 

Do a search on Youtube.. ".Roxio game capture sd tv".

Not to toot my own horn but check my video out.

 

And remember that when recording on a SD tv you can't use 480p/576p/720p/1080i setting. You will have to make sure the roxio software is on 480i/576i and the xbox 360 (if you are using xbox 360) cable on TV not HDTV

not sure, i don't own a PS3

i would say it wouldn't be much different but PS3 doesn't have cables that have both COMPONENT and RCA together. You would have to find a 3rd party cable to do it.

no, that method is the default for using the Roxio with a HDTV.
