i just got this new software and burn blu ray disc , and I have two issues , first one is once its burn without any problem , I can’t play in play me dvd , however watching in power-dived 12 only problem is the chapters are not showing as they should have only one out of 4 !

I did the same but created Blu Ray project and burn on the blu ray disc! (not dvd) i am just trying your AVCHD instructions , hope its work!

hummmm...

 

The uniformity of the length of each item in your previews indicate that they are actually still pictures???

 

If so, still pictures cannot have motion

 

Only movie clips will respond to the Motion Menu setting.

 

There is a possible way around that by making a 'movie' out of each slideshow - assuming I am not completely confused on this

So you are saying that the preview of the video are not correct; not the final outcome? That may be hardware related.

 

Have you updated the drivers for your GTX video card to the 301.xx version?

 

Please don't use small text; sometimes it is hard to read even for me who has excellent vision.

Everything is fine and its play as it should on normal blu ray players The Only Problem is THAT niggling “” motions” they should be playing as they show in MyDvd , but after burn in any format Blu Ray Dvd or AVCHD , they don’t play or discoloured, if I make them still than all good , but I want all motions …………………………….

Well that is odd indeed...

 

How LONG are these clips that make up the Titles? (menu buttons) I wonder if there is a minimum time for that effect.

 

What format are they in - AVI, MTS, M2TS, etc.?

 

Can you get us a screen shot that shows the Project View (lower left box of MyDVD)? Actually the whole MyDVD would be helpful...

(if you need to maintain privacy you can use Photoshop to blur the people in the preview)

 

I will try to duplicate your project to see if I can duplicate the result!

I just ran my project as a BD and the Menus did have motion...

 

One neat trick of MyDVD is that you can change a project without having to redo it!

You shoud get one or two rewritable blu-ray discs to play with for temporary testing; not for permanent storage.

I created an AVCHD Project with Motion Menus active:

 

 

 

I burned this onto a DVD and played it on my BD Player as well as with Corel's WinDVD (it does do AVCHD).

 

All menu items did have motion on both play methods.

 

Now you need to look closely at my picture and make sure EVERYTHING matches your Project

 

Then you will need to test the DVD (use a DVD RW to save discs) in a couple of places.

 

Let us know what you find!

I hate to be anal about this but you cannot create a BD on a DVD!

 

You can create an AVCHD on a DVD with Roxio and an AVCHD cannot be created on a BD disc

 

Assuming these are sub-menus, as you just stated, then as far as I know, they should be able to produce motion menus...

 

I have never used them so I will have to build one and test it out

I made a Blu ray DVD using NXT and select all motion in sub menu, its show ok before burn in Roxio mydvd but when its burn and no error, it’s not paly the motions as per screenshot

And that’s shame if you can create something with Creator NXT but cannot play it!

The Corel WinDVD that is included with NXT Does Not play BluRay (or Commercial DVD's)

 

Validate does FAR LESS than the word would imply... about all that it really does is make sure the files and effects you have selected for your Project are present on your computer and located where you said they were... It does not check to see if anything actually works

 

Folks often confuse "Chapters" for "Titles"...

 

Chapters are PARTs of a Title (movie).

 

If you have a Chapter Menu, it will play from the Chapter you select to the end of the Title.

 

Motion does not extend to Chapter Menus, only Menu and Sub-Menu Pages...

 

Hope that helps clear up a few things for you

 

PS: a little confused on what you made? You say "BluRay" then say you burned it onto a DVD??? The only way that can be done is through an AVCHD Project... Is that what you did?

As all the chapters should be "apply motion to all menus" and its works fine in my Roxio MyDVD before I burn and validate project, no problem, but once its burn using Roxio Mydvd , only one menu is working rather than all otherwise it is all good ! , hope it is clearer now!

 

Power DVD12 is playing the DVD but not Roxio that is the second problem!

Since you have supplied no information at all on what you did except "burn blu ray disc", how is anybody supposed to help if you don't tell us what you did.

Also read what you typed before posting. At the moment most of your post doesn't make any sense. What is "power-dived 12" or what is this supposed to mean "only problem is the chapters are not showing as they should have only one out of 4"?
